The developers are committed to supporting the local environment and people in a way which goes well beyond offering well paid employment, although we will be employing more than 50 well trained local people at fair wages.

We have already started to build a local day-care centre for mothers in the nearby town of Santa Maria and the following projects will be undertaken during 2007:

Turtle Conservation

Endangered species of turtles arrive on local beaches and are usually eaten by local fishermen. The developers will endeavour, working with local conservationists to protect these beautiful creatures, their eggs and their young.

Sports Activities

A thriving school's soccer programme has been started at a local school. The developers intend to help the young people build their self confidence and fitness through structured sports activities.

Healthcare Provision

Funds will be used to pay for treatment of local people where they cannot afford the cost themselves. Preference will be given to children.

School Library

The developers want to provide a school library for the local infants school. Donations of children's books will be welcomed.
